THE STORY BEHIND third studio
I used to be a consultant for one of the Forbes 100. And well, let’s just say it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea…
Quitting a well-paying, high-prestige job and jumping into complete uncertainty isn’t for the faint of heart. But I like to say that I didn’t have a choice: If I wanted to stay true to myself and live a life that felt worth living, I had to take this step. The path wasn’t as straightforward as it may appear now, but it led me to where we are today. And that is EXACTLY where I want to be.
A look back on
my journey…
2016
After nearly ten years at Accenture, I resign from my job as an IT consultant. Without knowing what would come next, but with a deep belief that it is the right decision.
2021
It is hard to wash the consulting job out of my system. I become known as an SEO expert within the photography community in the US. Consulting and mentoring assignments start coming more frequently. I teach SEO for a large American photography network. In addition, I begin teaching photographers in the United States and Norway in video production.
2023
third studio is born
As the natural culmination of my experience, expertise, and long-held ambitions, third studio is founded, with its very own SEO agency, third SEO.
It marks the point where strategy, artistry, and vision come together into one clear direction.
2007
Norway calling
After growing up in Germany, attending school in Australia, studying in Singapore, and working in London, it was love that brought me to Oslo in 2007. Without knowing a single word of Norwegian, but with a freshly signed job contract in my pocket.
2017
My new photography and filmmaking business takes off. After just two years, I am included on the International Lifestyle Photographers Association list of the 50 best photographers in the world. In 2023, I move up to rank among the Top 25.
2022
I genuinely enjoy working with industries beyond photography as well. My first “branding-website-design-and-SEO” projects are going live. Networking groups and professional associations become aware of my work, and I lead SEO workshops and courses for organizations such as Asker Næringsforening, Kvinner i Business, and RE Gründerhuset.
